Crackers

Sheniqua was walking home from the old corner store to pick up a box of saltine crackers. She was very hungry, she hadn’t eaten in days. Her family was very, very poor and she didn’t get to eat often. She was so happy to finally have a bite to eat. She opened up the box and grabbed a handful of the crackers out. She greedily stuffed the crackers into her mouth. Chewing the food, she felt something furry inside her mouth. She reached her fingers into her mouth and pulled out a small, torn furry leg. She felt a gag, and spit everything out of her mouth. In the pile of half-chewed crackers was a small tarantula half alive and soaked in her saliva. Shocked with fear, she passed out.
